Harris Puerto Rico

The company began operations in September 1946 at 1010 North 19th Street, Tampa, Florida. The manufacturing plant, with over 130,000 square feet of completely automated facilities, included an alkyd resin plant, an aerosol packaging plant and a completely equipped and staffed research laboratory. In October 1970, the company opened a manufacturing plant in Puerto Rico. HARRIS PAINTS in Puerto Rico has expanded during the past 40 years to keep pace with requirements of residential, commercial and industrial users, painting contractors and retail sales at paint dealers. Over 3,000,000 gallons and 6,000,000 aerosol cans of HARRIS PAINTS are produced annually to meet demand in its over 110,000 square feet facilities for local and export markets.
